The project "Routine repairs of wells and fire hydrants in villages of the Makhambet district of the Atyrau region" has begun.

The project “Routine Repair of Wells and Fire Hydrants in Rural Settlements of the Makhambet District, Atyrau Region” has been launched.

The scope of work includes:

• inspection of the technical condition of wells and hydrants;
• defect assessment of structural elements (heads, rings, manholes, shut-off valves);
• cleaning of wells from silt and debris;
• restoration of joint sealing;
• replacement of damaged reinforced concrete rings and manhole covers;
• repair and replacement of fire hydrants, functional testing;
• pressure and flow rate testing;
• bringing facilities into compliance with current standards and regulations.

Special attention is given to ensuring unobstructed access to hydrants, as well as restoring signage and markings.

The works are carried out in stages, prioritizing facilities with the highest level of wear and risk of failure. Upon completion of each stage, quality control is performed and as-built documentation is prepared.

The project aims to improve the reliability of water supply systems and ensure the required level of fire protection in rural settlements.
