Sand retention works along the Kobyakovo–Zaburyn canal in the Isatay District of the Atyrau Region are aimed at preventing silting and sand accumulation caused by wind and water erosion. Implementation of these measures ensures preservation of the canal’s design parameters, stability of the canal banks, and increased reliability of the hydraulic structure.
The scope of work includes installation of sand retention structures, reinforcement of the coastal zone, and implementation of engineering measures to protect the area from adverse natural impacts. All works are carried out with consideration of local climatic and hydrological conditions and in compliance with environmental protection requirements. As a result, uninterrupted operation of the canal is ensured and future maintenance costs are reduced.
